A few people have reported having problems viewing this site with Internet Explorer 7, it doesn’t seem to load the entire page for some reason. I’ve tried playing around with the CSS and the layout, but it’s still all weird for some people. There’s also a slight problem with the sidebars with other versions of Internet Explorer. Personally I use Firefox and don’t have any problems so if you want to view the site correctly you can download firefox below.

LOVE THE SITE! Thanks for all the hard work!

So I’m not going to get started on Firefox, but to fix your display problem in IE…

… in your style sheet, under #wrapper_body — line 151 “height: 200px;” is the culprit. Delete ‘er, and it’ll display correctly in both browsers.

actually, thanks Rachel, I do appreciate that, someone else mentioned the wrapper thing and i didnt know if i could just delete it. I will try it now. I hate not having it viewable for everyone on every browser

So I took off the height:200px and there’s still a problem with the 2nd sidebar in IE6 but I hope that took care of the problem in IE 7, which I don’t have, so i can’t really test.

    Hooray! 🙂

You’re using float/overflow in the CSS, and IE6 doesn’t handle it well (FF & IE7 do). It could be tweaked to be supported in 6, but probably not really worth the hassle as the break isn’t terminal – besides, folks should upgrade to one browser or the other anyway.

Thanks again for the great site!

As long as it works now in IE7 I can deal with the tiny problems in IE6, thanks for the help Rachel.

It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their problem in the first place.
