Looks like we “may” have another connection to the “God Particle/Cloverfield” ARG, viral marketing campaign.
User jnutttzzz on reddit found this site http://04182028.com which corresponds to the date mentioned in the Tagruato hidden text that was found last night. From what I can gather, the domain itself was registered yesterday along with 04-18-2028.com, 4-18-2028.com, and 4182028.com, all of which display the same scrambled video and audio file.
The video is 11 seconds long and contains scrambled video images of a face as well as what appears to be the same crosshatch pattern that we see on the Tagruato website image, so I’m leaning towards a connection here, but who knows, it could very well be someone just messing with us…
I’ve taken a bunch of screenshots of the more interesting parts of the video, but there’s still a lot of empty space and random static stuff that may or may not mean anything.
